He is a globally-recognized Control Systems Engineer, Publisher and a Professor at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Professional Experience
Prof. Itaketo has dedicated over 20 years to lecturing and research at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. He served as Head of the Department of Electrical/Electronic & Computer Engineering from 2006 to 2015 and has continued to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Control Engineering, Electronics, Advanced Engineering Mathematics and Advanced Systems Theory.

Prof. Umana Itaketo
Prof. Itaketo’s researches bridge theory and practice, focusing on dynamic modeling and control of non-linear systems, optimal performance analysis, and electromagnetic field synthesis. With extensive work on Lyapunov’s stability, Prof. Itaketo has developed solutions that advance stability in control systems without traditional linearization, preserving essential system characteristics for accurate performance evaluation.
